Delivery, Return and Payment Terms

DELIVERY TERMS

1. General

These delivery terms apply to the Design by Migia online store.

We deliver products within Finland and internationally when applicable.

2. Processing Time

  • Orders are processed within 1–3 business days
  • Handmade products: 2–5 business days

Note: During busy periods (campaigns, seasonal peaks), processing times may be longer.

3. Delivery Methods

We offer the following delivery methods:

  • Postal services (Posti / PostNord / other carriers)
  • Local pickup (if available)

The delivery method and cost are shown at checkout.

4. Delivery Time

  • Finland: 2–5 business days
  • EU: 5–10 business days
  • Other countries: 7–21 business days

We are not responsible for delays caused by shipping carriers.

5. Shipping Costs

Shipping costs:

  • are determined based on the order
  • are displayed before payment

Possible promotions (e.g. free shipping) are announced separately.

6. Responsibility for Delivery

The product becomes the customer's responsibility when:

  • it has been handed over to the carrier, or
  • it has been delivered to the customer

7. Damaged Shipments

If your package is damaged:

  • File a claim immediately with the carrier

RETURN POLICY

1. Right of Return

Consumers have a 14-day right of return in accordance with EU legislation.

The return period begins:

  • from the date the product is received

2. Return Conditions

Returned items must be:

  • unused
  • in original condition
  • in original packaging

3. Exceptions

The right of return does not apply to:

  • hygiene products (e.g. earrings once worn)
  • custom-made products
  • personalized items

4. How to Return

To initiate a return:

  2. Provide:
    • order number
    • item to be returned
  3. You will receive return instructions

5. Return Costs

  • The customer is responsible for return shipping costs
  • Unless the product is defective or faulty

6. Refunds

  • Refunds are processed within 14 days
  • Payments are returned to the original payment method

7. Defective Products

If the product is defective:

  • Contact us immediately
  • Attach a photo of the product

We will offer:

  • a replacement product OR
  • a full refund

Design by Migia offers secure and reliable payment methods in cooperation with payment service providers.

All payments are processed through a secure connection.

2. Payment Methods

We accept the following payment methods:

Card Payments

  • Visa
  • Mastercard
  • American Express

Card payments are processed securely via Stripe.

Klarna Payments

We also offer payment options via Klarna:

  • Pay now
  • Pay later (invoice)
  • Installments

Klarna is responsible for payment terms and processing according to its own terms.

3. Payment Confirmation

Once payment is completed:

  • You will receive an order confirmation via email
  • Your order will be processed

4. Payment Security

All payments:

  • are SSL-secured
  • are processed via certified third-party payment providers

Design by Migia does not store payment card details.

5. Payment Issues

If you experience payment issues:

  • Check your payment details

6. Refunds

Refunds are issued:

  • to the original payment method
  • in accordance with the return policy
